Mentor & Lake County · Pilot interest

Help visitors discover their next local stop.

Door Billboard is developing a hotel door-wrap pilot in the Mentor area. We are gathering interest from businesses that serve travelers during their stay.

Dining during their stay

Nearby restaurants, takeout and delivery. Make the menu, location and reservation or ordering link easy to find.

Something worth visiting

Attractions, entertainment, museums, shopping and local experiences. Give guests a reason to add you to their plans.

Useful visitor services

Transportation and other practical services. Healthcare proposals receive additional category and property review.

Planning stage: Host property, eligible door inventory, campaign dates and rates are not yet confirmed. An inquiry registers interest; it does not reserve space or commit you to a purchase.
Why the door?

A large canvas inside the guest journey.

Travelers make decisions about food, entertainment, transportation, shopping and activities while they are at a property. Door Billboard is designed to give approved advertisers a contextual placement without sacrificing property standards.

  • Full-door or approved partial creative concepts
  • Local, regional, national and convention-specific campaigns
  • QR offers and trackable landing pages
  • Category exclusivity only where contracted
  • Property approval before campaign installation
Campaign concept

Creative can change. The media relationship can continue.

Where a signed agreement permits it, a longer term can reserve defined inventory while allowing planned seasonal or event-specific creative refreshes.

Campaign design

Built around context, governed inventory and measurement.

Modern out-of-home networks emphasize audience planning and attribution. Door Billboard uses that measurement discipline while keeping launch claims conservative and supportable.

Pilot measurement standard

Separate estimated exposure from measured response.

Door Billboard will build the media network around evidence. Every pilot should establish what can be reasonably estimated, what can be directly measured and what cannot yet be claimed.

Document the inventory

Record active door faces, property/floor or event zone, campaign dates and creative version history.

Track the response

Use a unique QR destination and campaign-specific UTM parameters when the campaign has a digital call to action. Report scans, clicks and advertiser-shared conversions where available.

Label estimates clearly

Property occupancy, room inventory or event attendance can support planning estimates when supplied or supportable, but estimates are not the same as measured impressions.

Measurement policy: Door Billboard will not promise a CPM, guaranteed impression count or conversion result until the underlying inventory and methodology can support that claim. Early campaigns will focus on context, placement and measurable response.
Creative acceptance

Property approval is necessary, but it is not the only gate.

Door Rev reviews creative for placement fit, substantiation and property restrictions before production. Advertisers remain responsible for their claims, but Door Rev will not knowingly disseminate unsupported or misleading creative.

Claims need support

Objective price, savings, performance, health, safety and similar claims may require supporting documentation before approval.

Disclosures must work

Material qualifications, sponsor identity and offer terms need to be clear enough for the actual viewing context and should not be hidden in unreadable fine print.

Property rules control placement

Protected categories, competitors, alcohol or age-sensitive products, political or controversial categories, QR destinations and campaign dates remain subject to the property's negotiated standards.

Door Rev's launch approach follows the FTC's general truth-in-advertising principle that advertising must be truthful, not misleading and substantiated where appropriate. Creative that could be mistaken for property-authored or independent messaging may require clear sponsor or advertiser identification. Specific regulated categories may require additional legal review.

Launch-fit categories

Start with advertisers that fit destination context and simpler acceptance review.

Early campaigns should prioritize categories that can be evaluated cleanly against property rules, advertiser claims and the actual guest or attendee context.

Heightened-review categories: Healthcare, urgent care, pharmaceuticals, financial products, credit/lending, alcohol, gambling, political/issue advertising, age-restricted products and other sensitive categories are not treated as routine launch inventory. They require property approval and may require additional legal/compliance review or be declined entirely.
Creative examples

Make the door useful, memorable and trackable.

Door Billboard creative should feel appropriate to the property experience, not like an improvised poster. Campaign concepts can feature offers, QR calls to action, destination messaging and event takeovers.

Seasonal or convention-specific creative can refresh when the governing media agreement permits it.

Illustrative agreement structures

Longer terms can support planned creative refreshes when contracted.

One-, two- or three-year structures may make sense for qualified inventory, but rate, refresh cadence, priority, exclusivity and renewal rights belong in the actual proposal and signed order.

1-Year Structure

Pilot / Core
  • Defined governed door inventory
  • Refresh cadence stated in the order
  • QR tracking option where appropriate
  • Property-approved creative

3-Year Structure

Potential Founding Term
  • Defined long-term inventory rights
  • Seasonal creative plan if included
  • Renewal or first-look rights only if negotiated
  • Exclusivity scope only if documented

These are illustrative structures, not standing offers or guaranteed benefits. Public rate cards are intentionally not posted yet. Final pricing and rights depend on property, market, approved door inventory, audience context, exclusivity, term, creative-refresh scope and production/install requirements.
